II

Barn. Early C19 in appearance but possibly earlier. Red brick with timber
framed and brick addition, plain tile roof. Main range on 2 levels; double
doors to left of centre with 3 eaves hatches to left, right of centre and
right; 3 lozenge-shaped air vents to left and 4 to right of double doors
with 4 rows of perforations above and one below; 10 rows of perforations
to south-east gable. Lower range with light timber framing (C19), attached
to north-west gable. Interior: inspection not possible at time of re-
survey (1985), but exposed purlin ends suggest the, C19 brick-work may be
the casing of an earlier building.
