Cottage. Late C17 with later additions and alterations. Timber framed
on high brick plinth with painted brick infill and machine tile roof.
2-cell plan. One storey and attic lit by C20 flat-roofed dormer to
rear; framing: one square panel with short straight tension braces
below eaves; one 3-light late C19 casement to left and one top-hung
casement to centre on ground floor; entrance through lean-to porch
to rear; prominent external stepped end stack to left and later end
stack to right. Interior: not inspected but left-hand ground-floor
room noted as having a chamfered cross-beam ceiling.
