Barn approximately 50m south of Nills Farm

Barn. Probably mid- to late C18. Timber framed with red brick infill
on rubblestone plinth, plain tile roof. Former threshing barn; wide
threshing entrance blocked on north with inserted boarded door approached
by short flight of steps. Framing: 4 square panels from cill to wall-
plate with left gable re-built in red brick and right one clad in uncoursed
limestone rubble with weatherboarding above. Interior: Queen-post roof
in 3 bays with raised platform for grain storage to left. Nills Farmhouse
is not included.
