GV II

Farmhouse, now divided into 2. Probably late C16 with considerable
later additions and alterations. Roughcast probably concealing timber
frame, plain tile roof. H-plan. 2 storeys; 1:3:1 windows, all late
C20 casements; entrances in third bay from left to main range and
through late C20 timber lean-to porch on left return of left cross-
wing; 2 lateral stacks to right cross-wing and one to left with another
behind ridge to main range. Exposed purlin and wall-plate ends to gable
of left cross-wing. Interior: not inspected but likely to be of
interest; some oak panelling is said to have been removed from house
in late C19. V.C.H. VIII (1968), p.267.
