- Cruckton Hall

GV II

Stable block, now store. Probably late C18 with later additions and alterations.
Red brick with stone dressings, machine tile hipped roof. 2 storeys, dentilled
eaves cornice; 2:2:2 bays, central section slightly projecting with pediment
above; altered fenestration, C20 casement and fixed-light windows, but with
original roundel below pediment; ground floor retains arcade of 2 elliptical
stable arches (now blind and with windows inserted) to centre; inner doors
to either side also blocked; central lead-capped octagonal wooden cupola,
formerly housing bell with clock to rear. Interior: three C19 cast-iron
loose boxes.
