Cottage. Probably late C17 or early C18. Timber framed with red brick infill,
rendered to front, corrugated iron roof over thatch. 2-cell plan. One storey,
open to roof in right-hand bay with loft to left; framing: irregular square
and rectangular panels, 2 from cill to wall-plate, long curving tension braces;
central boarded door flanked by 2 small late C19 windows (casement to left and
fixed-light to right); external brick end stack to right probably a later
addition and now with a mid-C19 lean-to abutting. Interior: consists of 2
rooms only divided by a timber framed cross wall. Included as an unaltered
example of a labourer's cottage.
