Barn approximately 30m east of Spencer Lodge

Barn, now cowshed. Probably early C17 with later additions and alterations.
Timber framed, mainly clad in corrugated iron, plain tile roof. 2 levels;
east side has 3 eaves hatches, 2 boarded doors to left and one C20 ventilated
opening to left of centre. Interior: framing exposed, 3 square panels from
cill to wall-plate, long straight tension braces and jowled wall posts;
inserted full-length loft; single-purlin roof in 3 wide bays with raking
struts from tie beams supporting principal rafters. Later farmbuildings
adjoining are not included.
