Gate piers and railings immediately to north- east of Pontesford House

Gate piers and railings. Probably c.1830. Limestone ashlar and wrought-
iron. Gate piers with moulded pyramidal capping flank drive to Pontesford
House (not included) with to right a low ashlar wall surmounted by wrought-
iron railings facing road for a distance of approximately 60m; spear-
shaped finials with scrolled ends and urn-capped standards terminating to
north-east in a pair of rustic gate piers with an ornate wrought-iron gate.
