Barn. Early C17. Timber framed on roughly squared and coursed sandstone
plinth; weatherboarded to north-east, brick nogging with weatherboarded
gable to north-west and plastered infill to south-west; plain tile
roof. 3 framed bays. Framing: square panels (4 from sole-plate to
wall-plate) with long straight tension braces. Small boarded door
to south-west; doorway and scattered openings to north-east. Interior:
cross-frames with short corner braces, straight tension braces,and
tie-beam end trusses with queen struts; single purlins with wind braces.
Lower Day House is not included on this list.
