Pump. Late C19, by Bamfords. Painted cast iron. Circular shaft
with moulded rings and spout, fluted top with double-curved handle
and domed cap. Two makers' plates, upper: "7962/MARK/17X" and lower
shield-shaped: "BAMFORD'S/"UNIVERSAL"/BJ/PUMP". Included for group
value.
