Cottage. Late C17 with mid-C19 remodelling and C20 addition. Rendered
timber frame with rendered brick alterations and additions; plain tile
roof. Baffle-entry plan of 2 framed bays at right-angles to road.
One storey and attic. Plain barge boards with pendant finials and
gabled eaves dormer to south with 2-light leaded casement; central
brick ridge stack above door. Framing (concealed): square panels with
long straight tension braces. South front: two Cl9 two-light wooden
framed metal casements flanking central C20 six-panelled door with C19
gabled timber porch consisting of chamfered posts, curved braces,
pendant finial, and boarded tympanum; gable-end to road has 3-light
casement on each floor. C20 gabled addition at rear. Interior:
framing exposed.
