Milepost approximately 330 metres to South-East of Burnt Tree Cross

Milepost. Early to mid-C19. Painted cast iron with raised lettering and edge. Triangular section with chamfered top. Lettered, on top: "WENLOCK/8½'; to left: "SALOP/4/TO THE COUNTRY"; to right:"B.NORTH/16½/TO THE TOWN".

The asset was previously listed twice also at List entry 1055121. That entry was removed from the List on 22 March 2017.
