Snanton memorial approx. 2 metres to south
of nave of Church
of St. Michael

Chest tomb. Early C19. Grey sandstone ashlar. Moulded plinth, raised
and fielded side panels with flanking reeded pilaster strips, raised
and fielded end panels, and moulded cornice to chamfered top. To
John Snanton, died 23rd March 1810, aged 32. Possibly earlier inscription
illegible at time of survey (April 1985).
