Early C19 former market hall. Red brick with stone dressings. Slate hipped roof
with oversailing eaves. Rusticated quoins, string course and plinth. Two storeys.
Four bays. First floor sash windows in moulded stone architraves. Ground floor
4 bay arcade (now blocked, originally open ground floor) with rusticated elliptical
arches on Tuscan columns. Right hand (east) return similar arch and 2 windows above.
