Circa early C19 mill building with large circa mid C19 extension. Red brick.

The original part is at the north with low pitched hipped slate roof and sandstone ashlar plinth. Three storeys. Three bays centre blind. Sash windows with glazing bars and plain stone lintels. Central doorway above ground level with modern platform in front and large modern canopy above.Three bay side elevation to road with wide gable, central doorway to each floor with gabled hoist house above. Blind window left and right, ground floor sashes.

Circa mid C19 extension to south, large red brick building, with tiled roof with stone coped gable ends, shaped kneelers and stone eaves. Four storeys and attic. Four bays, left and right doorways to each floor. Iron-frame windows in segmental-arched openings. Tall chimney stack rises from east side.
