Farmhouse, now divided. Circa 1800 and early C19. Timber framed with
painted brick nogging on high dressed grey sandstone plinth; extended
in brick (now painted to represent framing). Plain tile roof.
Framing: small square panels, 4 from sole plate to wall plate. L-plan.
C.1800 wing of approximately 3 framed bays with later addition to south.
One storey and attic and 2 storeys and gable-lit attic. South front:
dentil brick eaves cornice. External brick end stacks and brick ridge
stack to rear wing. 3 bays; glazing bar sashes with painted stone
cills and painted stone lintels with raised keystones. Central door
with 6 beaded flush panels, 3-part rectangular overlight and flat
bracketed hood with moulded cornice. Rear wing: 3 windows to west;
2-light late C19 wooden casements. Boarded door between first and
second window from north. Three gabled semi-dormers to west.
Exposed collar and tie-beam truss in gable at rear with stepped queen
struts and V-struts. Interior not inspected.
