The Old Manor House

Possibly former brew house, now garage and store with attached pigsties,
now disused. Early to mid-C18 with mid- to late C19 pigsties. Dressed
yellow/grey sandstone; pyramidal plain tile roof. One storey. Plinth.
Pair of large C20 half-glazed boarded doors to left and 2 boarded doors
to right, that to far right nail-studded. Blocked windows inside walls
(see interior). Adjoining low range of pigsties set back to left; roughly
dressed grey sandstone with plain tile roof. 2 central 2-leaf boarded
doors. Pair of sandstone pen walls projecting to front. Interior
of brewhouse: roof consists of principal rafters springing from brackets
with shaped ends resting on horizontal corner braces; single purlins.
Inserted C20 partition. The front of the brew house has altered. It
probably formerly consisted of the present central door, possibly flanked
by windows. The right-hand door appears to have been cut through the
plinth.
