House. Early C19 with mid-C19 alterations. Remodelled and extended
c.1928. Pebbledash, probably over brick. Hipped slate roof. Square
plan, 3 x 3 bays. 2 storeys. Painted plinth, first-floor impost band
and painted moulded stone eaves cornice. Pair of brick ridge stacks.
South-west front: 1:1:1 bays, central break with triangular-pedimented
gable; glazing bar sashes, round-arched to first floor, set in full-
height white-painted round-arched recesses with impost band carried
over as architrave. Central early C20 small-paned half-glazed 2-
panelled door with cast-iron fanlight, moulded architrave with key and
doorcase of c.1928 consisting of fluted pilasters without capitals and
console brackets supporting round-arched hood. 2-bay return front
with full-height round-arches recesses. Half-glazed door to left.
Rear: 1:1:1 bays with central break; round-arched recesses. One-
storey hipped-roofed wing to east with central brick ridge stack and
bow to east dated 1928. Interior: mainly mid-C19. Staircase with
cast-iron balustrade. 2-bay arched wooden screen entrance hall with
fluted posts and lattice spandrels. Lyncrusta wallpaper. Panelled
window shutters.
