Pair of cottages. Late C17 with late C18 and mid-to late C19 alterations
and additions. Timber framed with painted brick nogging, extended
in brick (partly painted to represent framing). Plain tile roof.
Framing: square panels (3 from sole plate to wall plate) with long straight
tension braces. One of 2 framed bays with later flanking additions.
One storey and attic. Pair of brick ridge stacks, integral brick end
stack to left and brick stack to rear. 3 gabled eaves dormers with 2-
light wooden casements, that in centre with diamond-leaded lights. 4-
window front; C19 two-light wooden casements, the 2 to right with
diamond-leaded lights. Pair of 6-panelled doors with ornamental
gabled lattice wooden porches.
