Cottage. Dated 1643 (on dormer bressumer) with late C20 addition at rear.
Timber framed with painted brick nogging; shingled roof. Framing: small
square panels (3 from sole plate to wall plate) with long straight tension braces.
2 framed bays. One storey and attic. Timber framed eaves dormer to left with
C20 two-light wooden casement and jettied gable with moulded and dated bressumer
and quatrefoil in square panel. Later gabled eaves dormer to right with 2-light
casement. Integral brick end stack to right. 3-window front; one-, 2-and 3-
light C20 wooden casements. C20 gabled brick porch to-right with C20 boarded
door. Right-hand return front has slightly jettied gable consisting of collar
and tie-beam truss with queen struts and V-struts. Left-hand gable end has collar
and tie-beam truss with queen struts. Rendered C20 gabled wing at rear.
