House, now shop. Mid-to late C18, incorporting an earlier core.
Red brick,incorporating some timber framing. Plain tile roof. 2
storeys. Integral brick end stack to left add C19 external lateral
stack at rear. 2-window front; segmental-headed 2-light wooden-framed
metal casements. Inserted narrow C20 ground-floor window to right.
Segmental-headed half glazed door off-centre to right. Timber framed
rear wall. One-storey lean-to at rear. Interior: some surviving
framing including corner posts with joists and square-panelled left-
hand end wall. Ground-flor room with chamfered spine beam and plain
joists. C18 winder stair including landing balustrade with turned
balusters. Included for group value.
