House, now shop. Dated 1518, but probably C17. Partly rebuilt in the
mid-C18. Timber framed, partly rebuilt in painted brick. Exposed
wall plate to front. Plain tile roof. One framed bay. One storey
and attic. Plinth and plat band. Central C17 timber framed gabled
eaves dormer with C20 three-light wooden casement and probably jettied
gable above (now rendered). Brick ridge stacks to left and right and
external brick end stack to rear. Ground-floor 4-pane sash to right
with painted stone cill and lintel. Mid-to late shop-front to left consisting
of plate-glass window to right and glazed door to left with rectangular
overlight. Probably late C17 or C18 covered carriageway to right; timber
framed with plastered infill panels. Wing to rear. Interior: timber
framed square-panelled rear wall (2 from sole plate to wall plate). One
rail dated 1518. Tie-beam truss in right-hand gable end.
