Barn. Mid-C17 with C18 alterations and additions. Timber framed with
red brick nogging on red brick plinth, partly rebuilt and extended in
red brick. Plain tile roof. Framing: rectangular panels, 2 from
high sole plate to wall plate. 3 framed bays, extended by half a bay
at each end. C18 end extensions with plat bands, shaped stone kneelers
and honeycomb vents (also in side panels). Central cart entrance to
north-west. Interior: 2 framed cross walls with brick plinths, tension
braces and tie-beam trusses (reused timbers) with raking struts. Northern
truss with raking struts and C18 or C19 southern king-post truss. Single
and pairs (alteration) of purlins. Lean-to pigstyes to south-east.
