Barn, now cowhouse. Late C17, partly rebuilt late C18 with later alterations.
Weatherboarded timber frame and red brick; slate roof. Original threshing
barn of 3 bays open to roof with right bay rebuilt and loft inserted
in it late C18. Double doors to centre with twin eaves hatch directly
above; wide segmental vehicle arch to right. Interior: framing visible
to left bay; large square panels with long straight tension braces;
weatherboarded partition with former threshing bay, which retains original
timber cill. Single-purlin roof in 3 bays with collar and tie beam
end trusses and Queen-post trusses to centre, that to right with reused
cambered tie beam.
