Shown on O.S. map as Rag Lane Farmhouse.
Farmhouse. Dated 1714 with later additions and alterations. Pebbledash
over brick with painted stone angle quoins; hipped concrete tile roof.
2 storeys and attic with continuous floor bands. Windows to left and
right of central entrance; late C19 casements with C18 grooved painted
wedge lintels and projecting keystones, two C19 hip-roofed dormers in
bottom of roof slope. Late C19 gabled porch with contemporary glazed
double doors. Prominent pebbledashed ridge stack to left. Datestone
"AD/1714" in C19 lettering to centre on first floor with C18 datestone
inscribed "M/CM/1714" to centre on first floor of right return. Lower
2-storey range at right-angles to rear on left with large integral
brick end stack and dentilled eaves cornice probably contemporary with
main range. Mid-C19 addition attached to rear range, both ranges extended
late C20.
