Farmhouse. Mid-C17, with late C18 alterations and mid-to late C19 addition.
Pebbledashed timber frame, partly rebuilt in red brick. Slate roof.
Rendered brick addition with slate roof. Baffle-entry plan of 2 framed
bays with C19 addition to west. One storey and attic and 2 storeys.
South front: 3 windows; late C19 and C20 two-and 3-light wooden casements.
Boarded door between first and second windows off-centre to left. One-
storey lean-to brick addition to right. Rear: pair of gabled eaves
dormers to right with C20 two-light wooden casements and first-floor 2-
light wooden casement to left. Ground-floor C19 two-light wooden casement
to left and C20 two-light wooden casement to right. Central boarded
door. Large late C19 open lean-to porch. C19 addition with string course,
3 brick stacks and 2-:3-:2- window front to west with gabled break.
Interior of C17 range: large central stack, truncated below ridge and
with blocked fireplace. C17 oak winder stair behind stack and old boarded
door beneath stairs with wrought-iron strap hinges. Substantial framing
visible, including large jowl posts.
