House, now shop. Early C18. Red brick with painted stone dressings.
Plain tile roof. 2 storeys and attic. Chamfered stone quoins and moulded
wooden eaves cornice with carved scrolled modillions. Parapeted gable end
to right with stone coping, shaped kneelers and integral brick end stack.
Pair of large hipped dormers, each with boxed glazing bar sash and wooden
eaves cornice with cyma recta moulding. 3 bays; first-floor glazing bar
sashes (partly obscured by shop-front below) with gauged-brick heads and
raised keystones. Late C19 shop-front with pair of large plate-glass
windows, central C20 glazing door, deep fascia and flanking panelled
pilasters supporting scrolled brackets. Cast-iron street-name plate
attached to left (High Street). C18 rear wing, with plat band, parapeted
gable end with rounded sandstone coping and shaped kneelers, and boxed glazing
bar sashes.
