Farmhouse. Late C17 with later additions and alterations. Timber framed
with painted brick infill and additions; slate roof. Original 2-cell
central baffle-entry plan extended to right in mid-C19. 2 storeys with
dentilled eaves cornice to C19 addition. Framing: square panels, 4
from cill to wall-plate, with long straight tension braces to left gable
end. This has collar and tie beam truss with V-struts from collar.
Four C20 casements directly below eaves to C17 part and one to C19 addition.
Ground floor has one casement to left and 3 grouped together to right
of entrance with gabled hood and another to C19 extension. Red brick
ridge stack to centre of C17 part and integral end stack to C19 addition.
C20 painted brick lean-to to rear is not of special architectural interest.
