12/54 Rosemary Cottage

Cottage. Late C17 with later additions and alterations. Timber framed
with red brick infill; straw thatch roof. One storey and attic; apparent-
ly of 2 framed bays. Framing: square panels. 3 from cill to wall-
plate with short straight tension brace to left gable end. Late C19
casements to left and right of plank door under gabled timber porch [in
process of construction at time of resurvey (January 1987)] to right
of centre. Central straight eyebrow eaves dormer has 2 late C19 casements.
Truncated internal end stack to right and external end stack to left.
Late C18 or C19 painted brick lean-to to rear on left also has thatch
