ST51NE YEOVIL WITHOUT CP STONE LANE (off)

Farmhouse, probably late C18, with ? early C20 matching extension. Local stone
squared and random coursed, with Ham stone dressings; plain clay tiled roof over
2 bottom courses of stone slates between coped gables; stone chimney stacks. The
earlier portion to the left (West), 2-storeys of 5-bays, with 2-light stone
architraved and plain mullioned windows; the windows leaded with rectangular
panes: the later portion, which closely matches, has 4-bays, with the plain
boarded and studded entrance door (in stout frame) in bay 2, under a simple
timber hood on brackets. The window surrounds lack the tidings of their earlier
counterparts. To the left of the earlier portion a lower extension, probably
early C20, with a 2-light window at ground floor level. The interior not seen.
The various farm buildings, of late C19, not included in the listing.
