Farmhouse: Middle C18. Local stone, squared and in random courses, with Ham
stone dresings; plain clay tiled roof between coped gables, brick end chimney
stacks with stone caps, 2-storeys of 5 bays, with central 6-reeded panel door
(with ? glazed panels let in) in architrave, with stone flat door hood on
brackets. 2-light mullioned end architraved windows throughout, with rectangular
leaded panes: 3 casements retain their wrot iron projecting casement stays.
Rusticated quoins, with string course between ground end first floors. To the
left (West) a tall single storey extension in stone with clay tile roof and
coped end gable: in front of this a lean-to building in stone with double Roman
clay tiled roof: one casement window and a glazed door on the return, both
probably early C20. To the right (East) a 2-storey plain extension of local
stone rubble at ground floor level and brick-above, with a plain clay tiled
roof. There is a later stone outshut and also a single storey brick extension to
the nor. The interior not inspected. The sundry farm buildings mostly of C20 are
not included in the listing.
