Coach House and Stables, about 22 metres North West of Coombe Hill House

GV II

Coach house and stables. c1820. Local stone rubble with Doulting stone dressings; hipped plain clay tile roof with
catslides each side. In a Gothick style. 2 storeys, 7 bays. Plain ogee surrounds to casement windows in lower bays 1,
3, 5 and 7 and upper 2, 3, 5 and 6; original coach doors in segmental arch to bay 2, the opposite doorway in bay 6 now
altered to garage doors; ogee arched doorway to lower bay 4 with plain double doors and shaped fanlight with matching
loft door over set into gable with heavy pierced decorated bargeboard; plain ogee doorway right of bay 7. Further
outbuildings of single storey to East, with pointed head doorways. Complementary to Coombe Hill House (qv).
