Coachhouse and groom's house. Late C18. Local stone rubble, ashlar stone quoins and dressings; clay double Roman tile
roof with simple gables. 2 storeys, 5 bays. Bay 1 has C20 garage doors, bay 2 an elliptical arched doorway with
voussoirs and keystone, with circular windows above both; bay 3 has large elliptical coach arch, with small unlettered
plaque over; bay 4 has a 3-light leaded casement window in elliptical arch, with 2 similar 2-light windows above; bay 5
has plain door in elliptical archway. Formerly part of No 29 (Hamilton House) (qv), this may have become a separate
property in the mid C19 when the House became Stuckey's Bank. (Couzens P, Bruton in Selwood, Abbey Press, Sherborne,
1972).
