Shop, in row, formerly house. C18 origins. Local stone rendered and colourwashed; half hipped roof with lower courses
of stone slates and upper courses plain clay tiles; brick chimney stack. 3 storeys, one bay. Simple shopfront with
very wide 32-pane sash windows in plain frame with matching half-glazed door to left, under small fanlight, virtually
no fascia; 16-pane sash window to first floor and 2-light casement window to second floor. Although now in same
ownership as No.2 (qv) it was built as a pair with No.6 (qv).
