Church of St. Nicholas
Churchyard cross. Probably C15. Probably Doulting stone. Socket only surviving of original cross; C19 plinth about
1.5 metres square and 450 mm high; socket about 600 mm square and 400 mm tall, with chamfered edges and broached upper
corners giving an octagonal top; inscribed as memorial to First and Second World War dead, and C20 cross of Celtic
style added. (Pooley, Old Crosses of Somerset, 1877)
