Pair cottages with shops. Earlier C18. Local stone coursed rubble, colourwashed: plain clay tile roof with simple
gables; brick end and intermediate chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 4 bays. Mostly snail-pane casement windows of 2-lights,
but lower bay 2 has a 16-pane sash window and lower bay 1 a casement to match; alongside this last, and sharing timber
lintol, a boarded part glazed door up 2 steps; an older boarded door in deep recess to bay 3, and to right a part
glazed door, both up 2 steps: small single storey extension to South of No 8. Interiors not seen.
