Angled corner block of 8 cottages. Early C19. Local stone coursed rubble with plain ashlar quoins; Welsh slate roof
with ornamental bargeboards to gable; brick chimney stacks. 'L'-plan, 2 storeys with attic, 2 bays to each house except
No 654, 3 bays. Casement windows with small panes, 3-light below and 2-light above, all with voussoired segmental
arched openings; single attic windows to gables of No 657 and 658; window to No 660 replaced with aluminium; mostly the
original boarded doors, but glazed doors in stone and slate porches with ornate bargeboards to Nos 653 and 654.
