Waterwheel and linked machinery. C19. Cast iron, rubble stone surrounding wall. Wheel of overshot pattern, 7.4 metres
diameter, with galvanised tank over carried on a cast iron column; wheel complete but some buckets missing. Said to
have been made by a Westbury, Wiltshire firm, last used 1965, feed stream now silted up: used to drive machinery in
barn immediately to North; machinery removed, much altered and not of interest: presumably installed by the Portman
Estate, former owners. (Information from owner, March 1984).
