10/82 The Pond House



Detached cottage. Probably C18. Local stone coursed rubble; main block roughcast and colourwashed; Welsh slate roof
with plain gables, plain clay tiles to rear; stone and brick chimney stacks. 'U'-plan. East front 2 storeys. 2 bays.
Horizontal bar steel casement windows, upper pair in segmental arched openings; central door of C20 pattern, under
timber porch hood of open dentilled pediment on elaborate brackets. Interior not seen- previous list speaks of
inglenook fireplaces.
