Inn. Mostly C18. Local stone squared rubble; hipped plain clay tile roof with stone slate base courses; brick and stone
chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 5 bays elevation to East Street, continued as a 4-bay stable block. 12 and 16-pane sash
windows to ground floor, with 2-light small pane casements above, all in voussoired segmental arched openings: wide
doorway with sidelights to bay 2, under keystoned segmental arch, and narrowed door bay 4, both doors part glazed. On
single bay return to High Street an angled bay window of 8+16+8 pane sashes below and 6+12+6 above, with plain wood
panels between, wood cornice over and flat lead roof. Stables extend Northwards, with large 3-centre arch to bay 1 with
boarded gates; semi-circular windows to both levels bays 2 and 4, and larger semi-circular headed with doorway under to
bey 3. Interior much altered, but building has important streetscape value.
