ANSFORD CP LOWER ANSFORD (East side)
Detached house. Dated 1746. Cary stone rubble roughly coursed, Doulting stone dressings; double Roman clay tile roof
between coped gables; brick end chimney stacks. 'L' plan: 2 storeys, 3 bays. Small pane casement windows of 3 lights,
apparently of C19, all set under chamfered timber lintols; central boarded door in heavy frame set under open segmental
pediment, over which is a plain plaque inscribed W/SI/1746: whole facade much obscured by box trained up wall. Interior
not seen. On the south side a C20 flat-roofed extension.
