south of St. John's Priory

GV II

Gateway. Later C19. Doulting stone piers, wrot iron gates. Piers square on plan, with plain plinths, rusticated shafts,
deep frieze with triglyphs, flat cap with further plinth, scroll braced on each face. Gates of mid C20 date. Possibly
by Charles Bell.
