Large house with 2 shops. C18, Cary stone cut and squared with painted ashlar dressings;
Welsh slate roof between stepped coped gables; brick end chimney stacks. Three storeys,
6 bays. Lias stone plinth, plain side pilasters; upper floors have 4-pane sash windows
set in architraves; ground floor has early C20 projecting flat-roofed shopfront with
recessed central doors, spanning bays 1 and 2; and late C19 ashlar stone shop front over
bays 4, 5 and 6, having rusticated stone stall risers, with segmental-arched basement
vents having cast iron grilles, cill-mould, 2-light semi-circular arched shop windows
flanked by pilasters with base and impost moulds and cornice; matching shop doorway in
centre, up 3 steps; to lower bay 3 a C20 6-panel door, up 4 steps, in very tall surround
of Tuscan attached columns on plinths carving full entablature with triglyphs and metopes,
and dentilled pediment. Interiors not seen.
