6/82 Ashcot

Cottage, formerly 2. Early C19. Cary stone cut and squared; plain clay tile roof, the southern half between coped
gables; brick chimney stacks. Two storeys, 3 + 3 bays. Horizontal bar casement windows, set in segmental-arched
voussoired openings for first 3 bays, and under timber lintols for second 3 bays; windows all 3-light except upper bay
2, which is two light; the northernmost upper window set higher in a flat-roofed dormer; to lower first bay 2 a C18
panelled door with glazed toplights, and between second bays 1 and 2 a C20 glazed door with sidelight. Interior not
seen. Included primarily for group and streetscape value.
