Detached cottage. C17 origins. Local lias stone roughly cut and squared; double Roman clay tile roof between stepped
coped gables; brick end chimney stacks. Two storeys, 2 bays. Horizontal bar casement windows, 2-light above and 3-light
below, all under timber lintols; between bays a plain boarded door with diamond glazed panel in simple frame. Lean-to
against west gable with brick side wall and plain clay tile roof. Interior not seen. No. 3 qv) appears identical in
bulk and basic detail, and the two houses probably had common origins.
