Barn. Probably late C18, but on earlier foundations. Ham stone rubble, but with massive ashlar stones to base; Welsh
slate roof with stepped coped end gables having qabletted finials, but hipped over flank projection. Built into rising
ground, the south downhill elevation has 2 projecting sections. North elevation of 7 bays, with upper doors bays 1 and
2,a modified full-height doorway to bay 3, a segmental-arched doorway bay 4, a C20 sliding door bay 5, with 3-light
casement over, the openings to upper bay 6 and lower bay 7 now blocked. South elevation has tall chamfered plinth; 4
vent slits west of first projection, which has a large segmental-arched louvred opening, and side approach stairs;
between projections two low-level openings; matching second projection without side stair, then 4 ventilation slits to
east, and the remains of a lean-to building. Roof has apparently C19 trusses of several types, some key post, some
collar beam: the projections have threshing floors; some inserted floors on timber posts and brick piers. (VAG Report,
