Boundary wall with lychgate, The wall of 1850's; the gateway probably later. Ham stone ashlar, the gateway having
timber superstructure with gabled plain tiled roof. Wall in seven stepped sections with chamfered plinth and moulded
copings. with small square piers having stepped pyramid caps at north and south ends: the gateway, towards the south
end, has an ashlar base of same height as main wall, then timber traceried sides and ends: the gables have ornately
carved bargeboards: pair of timber gates to west side. An important part of the setting of the Church of St Mary
Maqdalen (qv).
