about 6 metres west of tower,
Church of St Michael and All
Angels

GV II

Chest tomb in railed enclosure. Early C19. Ham stone, wrought-iron railings. Tomb has stone base and moulded plinth;
one fielded panel each face, with very slim panelled pilasters to flanks, no frieze: moulded coving to shallow hipped
top. Enclosed by wrought-iron railings on stone kerb, having-cast-iron top rail, necked spearpoint tops and urn finials
to corners. Commemorates Thomas Mountford, died 1811, and his wife Mary, died 1830.
