Detached farmhouse. Late C15/early C16, modified late C16 and subsequently. Ham stone coursed rubble, ashlar dressings;
thatched roof with coped west gable, plain to east; brick end chimney stacks. Two storeys, 4 bays. Hollow-chamfered
mullioned windows in chamfered recesses, of 4-door-2-4-light to ground floor, and of 3, 2, blank and 3-lights to first
floor, not all to same detail, e.g. lower bay 4 has unworked top mitres, lower windows with labels; to upper bay 3 a
blocked oculus window, and small late C19 casement window left of lower bay 1: in lower bay 2 a C20 door in adapted
heavy frame, set in C20 timber porch. Timber lean-to garage against west gable, and lean-to extension at rear. Interior
not seen, but reported are a cross-passage, a 4-panel beamed ceiling, and in roof at least 2 jointed-cruck trusses.
