Pair of cottages at end of row. C18. Ham stone coursed rubble, ashlar dressings; thatched roof with abutment to north,
coped to south; brick chimney stacks. Two storeys, 3 bays. Hollow-chamfer mullioned windows in chamfered recesses with
labels to ground floor. Chamfer-mullioned windows of different profile, set into thatch, these C20 in stone walling
replacing cob: boarded doors in plain openings to right of bay 1 and between bays 2/3: a further mullioned window with
label in south gable. Interior not seen, but reported are numerous alterations and little of interest. Primarily listed
for important group value in the centre of the village. (VAG Report, unpublished SRO, December 1972).
